Bunny Lovers - Show her your love !

Being with an adorable rabbit...

New rabbit owners may imagine that she would come and jump to their hug at first sight. In fact, rabbits are also curious creatures, sensitive, and easy to be frightened. It takes time to be familiar with her owner. Just try to play with her a few times to build trust in each other, firstly.  When the rabbit starts to trust in her owner, we can play together and she's easier to be caught and cuddled. The main point is the gentle touch with love for her.

Getting closer; Approach to our adorable bunny.

If recently you had a new rabbit in your family or just in your room. There may be some hesitation, she will not approach you immediately. It is very important that we should not force her until the rabbit trusts & agree to come to you really, maybe for a few days. Then we could cuddle her without her panic.

Rabbits are often timid and easily frightened; if you act quickly, they will run away. You should do some signal to let her know that you are going to see her or approach her. This way could solve her panic. For example, you walk into the room and the rabbit is facing the other side. You need to send a signal. Maybe a word or a soft hiss etc. and the rabbit will be acknowledged. Don't peek a boo at the rabbit from behind or do something riveting. It's like you are going to sneak in and hurt her.

You should walk up slowly, kneel, stay low stick to the floor. Not being like a giant or something very big coming to her. You should sit down and wait for the rabbit to come and jump into you, naturally. This way will make the rabbit feels comfortable and want to come to you. Now, it's the time to touch, grip, play, carry, or cuddle as you wish.

Let's start by giving her a hand to sniff. Slowly put your hand closer at her eyes level next to the body. As the rabbit cannot look straight and under the jaw (because the eyes are on the sides). Let the rabbit sniff your hands comfortably. Or giving some snacks or food, feeding on your hand is a good relationship. Plus rabbit will know that you are nice, friendly, and welcome her. It's okay to come and being close to you.

Remember! you're gentle enough for her. When you reach out your hand, do not hastily until the rabbit is scared, she will be afraid. You should put your hand in front of the rabbit, not from behind. Otherwise, the rabbit will be frightened. Feeling like there is an outstretched hand from nowhere touching her. Don't put your hand under the rabbit's nose. For dogs and cats, raising your hand below the level of the jaw means "giving up". But the rabbit's results will be the opposite. In nature, when the advantageous rabbit will approach the other and order to lick her fur. She will extend her head below the other nose. And if you show that you "win" ...? Or at least it will make the rabbit be more stressed and may bite your hand. She would like to have your gentle pat, instead.

When we have succeeded in approaching our adorable bunny. Starting to get familiar with petting the rabbit is an important thing that follows, immediately. Rabbits are very fussy about the points you touch on them. She will like you to touch her cheeks, forehead, shoulders, and back. The gentle gagging of her butt will make her very happy and satisfied. She's learned that being close to you is a less scary experience. Rabbits are super happy when we cuddle them in a comfortable time. For example, while a rabbit is lying and relax. Going to her slowly and give her your gentle touch. Stroking her head or softly touch (This is where she like the most), starting from here. Because it's the easiest way that the rabbit will allow you to stork her with love. You need to be patient and wait for the rabbit to trust in you as the concept. However, avoid stroking around his belly, paws, and grabbing ears, as these are very weak points for rabbits.

Giving her gentle cuddling with love, consistently...

Then try to cuddle her every day which helps you to pass on your love, warmth, and good vibes to her... Let the feeling transfer itself by touching each other through embrace on soft, fluffy fur e.g. just gentle warm inside because you just hug or cuddle. She will touch and realize the love from you. Cuddle often for a long time, until she begins slowly loving you. And love you more and more...She's sensitive and has a good sense of love.

We may brush her to strengthen the relationship. This way makes you and her closer together, unconsciously... She will be fascinated with you very much. All you need is a wide-tooth comb, a rubber comb, a massage comb, a comb, or a brush that you think it's soft and gentle enough for her. To make sure that it will not hurt her when brushing. And do not brush close to the eyes area.  Keeping the brush be clean all the time. Because rabbits have sensitive skin. The wrong equipment may cause harm or irritation to her. May scare of getting close to you, instead.

If the rabbit has never been carried, a prohibition would not carry her from the first day. You have to get acquainted and teach your rabbit to know how to be carried around lightly and ergonomically. It may take several days or longer. Normally, it depends on your skill and tactic. You should care for her mood and feeling, too. You need to observe her behavior signal. Because, otherwise, what will be done at the wrong time, the wrong moment against her feeling would make her been afraid or bully and doesn't dare to get closer to you. The only thing you should do when she would like to be in her personal corner is to indulge her.

For example, if there is a whistling, rake, or gentle grit, this means the rabbit is happy. Rolling around, climb over you, laying her head flat on the floor, licking or pushing your nose, are all signs that the rabbit is happy and wants your attention. If there is such a symptom like this completely, you should do fully stroking her with love, give her your gentle cuddle as you wish. It's real happiness!

Standing on two legs of a rabbit, sometimes, it is a position that she is looking out or defend herself, etc. But if there is a roar, grunt, or scream, it means the rabbit is scared or in great pain. You should stop petting, slowly put the rabbit back down. Seeing her make sure that she just moody and doesn't be injured. And wait until she is relieved.

Do not reluctance or force rabbits! ...We should give her freedom, peace of mind, happiness to be with us. If she is reluctant, she will often resist and wrestle or flounder until it is dangerous. If the rabbit turns around and pretends to jump away, just let her jump and go. She has the most artist mood. So, do not force her but indulge. It means the rabbit is tired or scared. Let the rabbit go back into the cage first and play again later.

After cuddling, it's time to gently put the rabbit back into the cage. But if the rabbit resists, stubborn, and refused to return to the cage. You should not force her if nothing no emergency really.  Rabbits usually enter their cage by themselves if they are tired and want to rest. Anyway, she would like to play with you more, being with you, and don't want to leave you for now. She's having fun and is in love with you head-on. Let's try another interesting way, such as placing snacks or her favorite food in a clean and livable cage. So, the rabbit is eager to return to the cage herself.

For the same reason, do not force her to be carried out of the cage. The rabbit need to have her space to escape and take a rest in a personal corner. Her personal corner !?! yes, and should not disturb her. If she prefers to play or explore she will come out by herself. Unless suspected that the rabbit is sick or injured. Other than that, let the rabbit has her own time. In-out the cage as she wishes. Because you love her...You will be happy when your rabbit feels good. Absolutely, she realizes this thing.
