In general, a rabbit's sniffing indicates a need to communicate or talk to the owner, his flock, or smelling around himself. Maybe the food, the flowers, the strangers or strange smell or maybe searching for something. At times when he is nervous, he will move his nose or sniffing in the same way faster. Physically, his sniffing will stimulate the secretion of fat and create moisture that will help to smell better. Because, it helps the nasal cavity expanded, allowing more air to breathe and helps to reduce the heat inside as well. This sign could be seen that he will sniff faster in the hot weather.

Because rabbits would use their front feet to rub their noses and mucus. It usually makes the hair on his feet be stick together in a lump as well. In general, the cold in rabbits is caused by the Pasteurella multocida bacteria. But sometimes it is caused by the Bordetella and Staphylococcus bacteria. The cold will spread to other rabbits in the flock quickly. And it's time to go to see a veterinarian. The owner should, immediately, take him to the vet as soon as possible. Because he is more fragile and subtle than other kinds of pets. If not treated, immediately, the symptoms would become to be pneumonia and eventually die. And it's the thing which no one would let it be.
